International audience, the internet isn't only in the US.
The lede is written as if the only people who will be reading this article are Americans. This programme broadcasts in my country also, and it isn't on at 8pm on Sunday. I hope you get my point. 121.73.7.84 (talk) 12:23, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
Grammar
the plot summaries for at least the first couple of episodes were all poorly written. Other parts were not, and if I have time later I will fix it, but right now I am putting a tag at the top.ImVeryAwesome (talk) 00:42, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
- I removed some summaries that were WP:COPYVIO from The Futon Critic and cleaned up those that weren't, thus fixing the issue and removing the tag. — Wyliepedia 05:46, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
Hillary 2016
Curious as to why there isn't any mention of this series' obvious function as a Clinton2016 propaganda tool... dear God, they even picked an actress who looks like (a half-century younger)Hillary... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.34.129.246 (talk) 02:14, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- or that CIA and NSA types are the good guys, or USMC types can be theology professors. Female CIA types become Secretary of State. It's oh so probable—and progressive !!.24.36.54.238 (talk) 00:45, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
Its clearly a puff show for Hillary.. The same way "Thats My Bush" was a hit piece on W. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:3:2E80:1BC:D008:CB6F:8A35:C83E (talk) 20:02, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
Political Parallels
Which politicos consulted on the show, what plot points echo real world events? Those seem like good topics for this.
You have an "Iran Deal" they're working on, the opponents of which are intent on war with Iran and [spoiler] launch a coup. How that echoes real life talking points is of course interesting and how this echoes other real life events seems worth more than the passing mention to the Clinton campaign and Duterte. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.170.229.66 (talk) 22:03, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Jay Whitman
Am I the only one to think Jay's role has progressed beyond simply "Chief of Staff"? Meeting with the President in S05E17 on a foreign policy matter, representing State, indicates a more high-ranking official capacity. He also represented State in the UNHCR Roundtable on Pacific Climate Migration about five minutes into the same episode. This all would indicate a senate-confirmed position with the department. Has he been referred to as CoS recently? His policy portfolio would suggest a much more expansive role now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:1219:44AC:3000:FE4A:B08B:A8BB (talk) 00:17, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
