Ran across an article about this fish...
[edit]Might come back later to see if it can be used as a source, but for now, I'll just post it.[1] A blog, yes, but a blog from the Discovery Channel; a bit more reliable than the average blog. EVula // talk // ☯ // 17:39, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! There's another blog post on Pharyngula, with some discussion of the anatomy of Macropinna's eyes. http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2009/02/weird-eyed_fish.php Gary (talk) 20:04, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Italic Title?
[edit]Why is the title Italic? I don't know how to change it... but yeah, why? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.232.35.74 (talk) 14:27, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- I think scientific names are always supposed to be in italics. Gary (talk) 20:21, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- But in almost all other articles (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyto_robusta - took a while to find one without a common name) have titles in regular case, not italic. I submit to change the title of the article to regular case.
- I don't care either way, it's just a grammar thing, but I don't know how to change the case of the title. Gary (talk) 17:45, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- The case of the title was originally Regular... someone changed it to italics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.232.35.74 (talk) 18:07, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Description of external links
[edit]I put descriptions of the external links, so that people would know what it was they were clicking on, if they wanted more information. For example, I said that one of the links had an article and a video. But unregistered users keep changing the title so that the video is not mentioned, and they appear to want a lower quality copy of the same video to be emphasized. Why is this? Gary (talk) 17:44, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
How big is it?
[edit]Looks like a nuclear submarine on the youtube footage... 2cm? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.178.162.163 (talk) 19:16, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
