Regarding notability
[edit]- Is running the HTML5 effort. You know.. like the stuff that this place is running on. Very high profile work in his field.
- CNet and Ars Technica, two highly regarded publications, found it noteworthy to have articles profiling Stachowiaks new position. Independent, separate, reputable news sources. One could easily find more from these sources (17 in the case of Ars Technica) and other independent news sources as well.
- Has been the lead developer of file browser of GNOME. Nautilus. Very high profile work in his field.
- Manages the highest profile open source project at Apple, WebKit. Very high profile work in his field.
These points easily meet the criteria for general noteworthyness, and there's >61k hits on a search for his name on Google. -- Henriok (talk) 17:21, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
