Period around mid-1970s
[edit]I have some further information about MV Celtic which I will post here as soon as I can. She was owned and operated by my stepfather as "Grant Shipping Lines Ltd", and he has information on her engines, routes, captains over a five year period in the mid-1970s. I'm thrilled to see a Wikipedia page about her; I spent many happy days on the Celtic as a boy. Daen (talk) 16:38, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Build/launch dates - 1903 or 1908?
[edit]According to the link to the Lloyd's Register, Celtic wasn't built until 1908. Anyone know where the 1903 build/launch date in the article came from? Daen (talk) 15:55, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- Whoops, I can see now, comparing to the earlier copy, it's just a badly-scanned '3' - my bad Daen (talk) 15:58, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
