[edit]Sorry I don't comprehend the meaning of {61組3卡(分別為E1-E45及E46-E61...)} even though I'm Chinese. The phrase is confusing and tricky and i think only the HK railway maniax will understand. ( an perplexed anon editor)
- From context I'd take it to mean "KCRC ordered the trains in 2 batches(E1-E45 and E46-E61) made up of 61 sub-batches each of three cars."
- Or in long hand: E-1 to E-45 constituting the first batch, E46-E61 constituting the second batch. E-1 is the serial number for a production group of three cars or carriages (i.e 卡), E-2 the serial second production group etc, so that from E-1 to E-61 there are 61 sub batches. You don't have to be a "HK railway maniax" to understand it, though I think being an anorak in general helps though. KTo288 (talk) 16:53, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

MTR MLR Train EMU → East Rail Line Metro Cammell EMU — MLR refers only to the refurbished trains, not the refurbished and unrefurbished trains as a whole. The person who changed the name to MLR Train might not have considered the unrefurbished units seen in the 1980s and 1990s. --Mbssbs (talk) 03:32, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Not the best grammar, so it needs to be cleaned up (see Wikipedia:Manual of style). If possible, it needs a little bit more information. Melkittycat (talk) 01:48, 10 July 2009 (UTC) |
