Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because: I dont see why this should be deleted. Wikipedia has a lot of aircraft related articles, and this one seems to fit right in. — Ruigeroeland (talk) 08:32, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That isn't a very good argument for keeping this article. However this is a very notable company and the article should be retained. We just need to add refs from sources such as Janes All The World's Aircraft to show notability. - Ahunt (talk) 13:09, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

As we dont normally include Ltd Inc etc in article names should this be at MT-Propeller? MilborneOne (talk) 21:08, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree! Shall I move it? - Ahunt (talk) 21:50, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed and moved. Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 07:59, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for taking care of that! - Ahunt (talk) 11:21, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I wondered if it should have been moved to MT Propeller without the weird spaced dash that the company uses but I've created a redirect for that so all bases should be covered. Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 12:00, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I know as per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Trademarks that we don't use company spellings that use things like all capitals, but there is no guidance there about dashes and the company uses the dash, so we might as well too. As long as all possible uses are redirects then I am confident that readers will find the article and that links in articles will be blue and not red! - Ahunt (talk) 12:33, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
