LICRA
[edit]There should maybe be a note on MRAP's relations with LICRA. While LICRA is primarly focused on antisemitism, MRAP appears to be more interested in islamophobia. However, since there are numerous conflicts between Jews and Muslims, it would seem pertinent to see how those two associations deal with each other. ADM (talk)
POV problems
[edit]User:RolandR reverted edits neutralising the POV tone of the prose, claiming "lack of citation", however the issue with the article is rather the presentation of this controversial organisation in breathless glowing terms within the prose itself, couching what their political opinions are as if they were objective fact; gospel, in grand heroic fashion, for instance we have "in the struggle against", "the fight against", "racists", "rights", etc, rather than neutral adstractions. According to the profile of the initiating reverter, they identify as a London Jewish Trotskyist, thus there is significant reason to suspect politically motivated bias behind the revert (the subject of the article was originally founded primarily by members of the French Communist Party, many of them Jews, to howl "racist!", "fascist!", "antisemite!" against French people). - I've removed this template per #3 in the instructions at Template:POV:
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
- There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
- It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
- In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.
- This is without prejudice one way or the other to the argument presented above, which I'd still encourage the editor to seek resolution of. -- Khazar2 (talk) 03:19, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
Developing historical section
[edit]There has been a growing amount of research about the history of this group - I am going to try to add some more material on its origins and development in the 1950s-1980s (taking some material from the French version of the page and some from additional English-language scholarship). – Natural disambiguation. Failing that "(organization)" seems to be the more common disambiguation term, so move to MRAP (organization) and KISA (organization) * Pppery * it has begun... 17:18, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- Move to MRAP (organization) and KISA (organization) per nom. 162 etc. (talk) 21:46, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- Move to MRAP (organisation) and KISA (Cypriot organisation). Not the only organisation called KISA. Note that French uses the spelling "organisation", as does Cyprus, which is a Commonwealth country. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:00, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
