Requested move
[edit]MMMBop is both an album and a song. The content for the Mmmbop article describes the song and should be moved to MMMBop (song) which is pointed to by the MMMBop disambiguation page. A redirect should be placed at this article to MMMBop which is the spelling which has been standardized upon in all the other related articles.

Discussion
[edit]- Add any additional comments
- I don't think the average person knows there was an album, so when most people type MMMBop into the search engine, or create it as a link, they are probably looking for the song. Therefore, an alternate idea: you could move Mmmbop to MMMBop, and, instead of being a disambiguation page, have MMMBop be about the song, with a notice at the top of that page such as "This article is about the song. For the album, see MMMBop (album)" and a reverse notice at the top of MMMBop (album). Mmmbop and MMMBop (song) could then redirect to MMMBop. HollyAm 05:10, 2 November 2005 (UTC)
- That seems to make sense to me. Albertane 06:58, 2 November 2005 (UTC)
- I've added a dablink to this article and to MMMBop (album). Albertane 07:05, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

Influences
[edit]I heard that the counterpoint was derived from some classical piano piece, also the melody cloned from a song by a 1970s girl band. What say you? knoodelhed 21:32, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
- I would probably say that I would pay the whole 3,000 if I had to endure that torture. Those poor children. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.132.140.241 (talk) 02:55, 28 April 2007 (UTC).
Fact - Check
[edit]This article claims that the first Stop the Bop fundraising campaign was held for Hurrican Katrina relief. The CBS link corroborates the story. But, there was a Stop the Bop fundraiser at my high school and I graduated before Hurricane Katrina. I do not think my school had the first Stop the Bop. I suppose it is possible that I am mistaken, so I am not going to edit the main article. Can anyone out there also attest to having a Stop the Bop before August 2005 when Katrina hit? If so, the article must change to reflect that. 142.167.168.182 16:11, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
SNL - Factual accuracy and neutrality (or lack thereof)
[edit]"At the end of the skit, the boys finally escaped from the elevator alive, but with Isaac & Zac having gone completely mental, though Taylor remained just normal. They look like apes from the movie, Planet of the Apes. Their parents made them do this, in order to make a few bucks." - what? Anyone seen that skit? Please elaborate on this one, looks like vandalism, I just have no idea to what extent. Thanks -- My.life.is.muzik... (talk) 11:07, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- This verbage is not in the article and it looks reasonably NPOV to me. If someone disagrees please restore the dispute box and detail your issues here on the talk page.Jarhed (talk) 01:23, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
