- hold sounds awkward, so I went with "chosen for"
Why was the articial turf criticized by multiple players?
- Turf is generally not preferred by soccer players, and this is relatively common knowledge. The two sources I found for Qwest Field wrt the cup did not mention this directly, though, so it has to be omitted.

Delink United States and Canada since they are both major geographical regions
- Done, though I don't think it's overkill here.
"The two teams were from Western Conference," - the Western Conference,
- Fixed.

"to give the Galaxy a 2–0 win and place them in the MLS Cup final." - and a place in the MLS Cup final
- Fixed.

I believe it should be clarified that the praise reserved for the crowd and atomsphere was friendly or something along those lines
- I don't believe that this can be supported by any sources, nor is it necessary.
