Fair use rationale for File:Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer logo.svg
[edit]File:Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer logo.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a non-free use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- As of right now, that's nothing but a rumor/speculation/etc. 2600:1700:C960:2270:194C:E965:E235:6A3E (talk) 08:57, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

Is it MGM Studios or MGM Holdings that Amazon has acquired?...
[edit]Honestly, from my interpretation of the news coming out that Amazon has successfully closed the deal to acquire MGM, it sounds like it's MGM Studios (the film studio), *not* MGM Holdings (MGM Studios's parent company), that Amazon has acquired. If someone can put forth something/anything that actually indicates that it *is* MGM Holdings and *not* MGM Studios that Amazon has actually acquired, then I will gladly admit to my interpretation being wrong. 2600:1700:C960:2270:4C91:F41B:C654:435D (talk) 09:03, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
- To be fair, I think MGM Holdings should have been dissolved when the Amazon sale was completed, and have MGM Studios listed in intel rather than the holding company. If only a reliable source proved it… BiggieSMLZ (talk) 15:07, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
