OK. I am still editing the page. But I think this program deserves a spot.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Writersblock2222 (talkcontribs) .

The faculty include some of the most successful writers and poets in America. Sabina Murray won the PEN/Faulkner award and has written screenplays starring Nick Nolte; James Tate is arguably the greatest living American poet and has won BOTH the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize! The program hosts literary events that draw national audiences, like the Juniper Festival and Juniper Institute.

Thanks. I'll try to keep working on the page 'til it's satisfactory.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nsevs (talkcontribs) .

I think if the Iowa Writers Workshop merits its own page, then so too does this one. It may seem like blatant advertisement, but that is why the content must be pared down to relevant and factual information that does not focus on the program with an overall "awed and flawed" perspective. Many Universities Have A Program With A Similar Name

[edit]

Unlike the Iowa Writers' Workshop, countless MFA programs have a title that is identical or at least similar to this one. This page should not be about one particular school, but about MFA programs for writers in general. -Cyberscribe 15:54, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
