Non-Album Bonus Track?
[edit]I've been trying to look for information about The Feeling Is Gone, and I'm pretty sure it was by M2M, but I don't see any info anywhere on Wikipedia regarding the existence of this song - it's not even listed on this page. XIronGolemX (talk) 04:41, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- It shouldn't be listed on this page. This page is an overview of the band, not a collection of all their songs. The Feeling is Gone was featured as a bonus track on certain editions of both "Shades of Purple" and the single "Don't Say You Love Me". Freikorp (talk) 21:52, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
Chart positions
[edit]Whoever added them should verify them, all the Norwegian ones were made up, assuming they were supposed to represent how M2M performed in the official Norwegian sales charts -- chsf, 18 March 2006
I don't think that the part about M2M being a hit in the Philippines is true. Yes, they may have been a hit, but it was definitely not because they made Mandarin versions of their songs. People in the Philippines do not speak Chinese, unless they are Chinese who migrated to the area and that is not a large part of the population. -- misa, 30 January 2007
Chart positions and sales figures are completely fictional - at least the German ones. Purschka (talk) 23:10, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- All the charts are now verified. M2M were a hit in the Phillipines, though probably not for Mandarin versions of songs, however to the best of knowledge their are no reliable sources for charts in the Phillipines so chart listing accordingly does not appear. Another single?
[edit]I know for a fact that Don't was released as a single off their second album, but I have no idea whether is was international or North America only.... SKS2K6 08:19, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- My extensive searching has found a reference that it was released in the US, however I believe it was a promotional release only. I have not found any sources that this single was released elsewhere. Freikorp (talk) 21:52, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

- No. It's not a direct quote. The original source is in Norwegian. The Bing translation gives the text "We were like twins when we were kids, but that 18-year-olds we were very different". Can you suggest better wording for the article?
- A 'best of' album → A greatest hits album Done
- M2M sold → As of 2013, M2M sold + do this in the lead, too Not done I understand the source for 2 million is from 2013, but I think it's misleading to specify the year in the prose. M2M disbanded in 2002 and their 'best of' album was released in 2003. I seriously doubt M2M sold more than 1000 records between 2004 and 2013. I have a source that states they sold 1.5 million copies of their debut album by January 2002. What I'm saying is they would have sold those 2 million albums by 2004. Specifying 2013 makes it sound like they've still been selling records up until then, and also makes the article look somewhat out of date. It raises the question of how many albums they've sold in the four years since 2013 (again, I seriously doubt they've sold more than 100 since 2013, but that's beside the point). Is this really necessary?

Critical response and musical style
- rare amongst teen pop → rare among Done

- In 1999 Stephanie McGrath → That same year, Stephanie McGrath Done
Discography
- The filed where the title of the respective album is placed needs to be darker, see this as an example. Not done - I don't know how to change that. I'm not good with table codes.
- You need something like an iTunes link to reference the albums were released (see this as an example) Done - but I had to shorten the first album to year only as I couldn't find a reliable source for the exact date
- The countries don't need to be that thick (take example on the articles mentioned above; change the style of the tables if needed) Not done - again, I don't know how to change that.
- For the singles section, the title and year need to be switched (see this as an example.) Done
- You need refs for the singles as well (see this as an example) Done
- The maximum of countries is 10; you have 11 in the singles table Not done - are you sure this is a CURRENT wiki policy? I seem to remember a consensus ruling against the maximum of ten countries some time ago.
