Reference discussion

[edit]

The link to www.dalcoelections.org/november72006/Update_9.HTM that was used as the bond act ref isn't there anymore. I replaced it with a link to the ASCE that lists all US bond acts in the 2006 general election. However, this has no information on the specifics of the bond acts. Can someone find a reference that shows that Proposition 1 actually mentions the M-Line expansion? n2xjk 18:15, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edwards vs. Eikon

[edit]

There has been flip flopping here on the reference to where the Peter Witt car is being restored. It does appear that the Edwards Railcar Co. as it was is now defunct and Eikon International seems to be the successor. I added a reference to car 754 on Eikon's web page. n2xjk (talk) 17:26, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Route map

[edit]

The route map isn't formatting correctly inside the info box, but it will format correctly when the template is displayed by itself. I don't know how to fix that.

Furthermore, the route should be updated to reflect the new Urban Circulator. n2xjk (talk) 19:18, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:M-Line Trolley/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

This article is a good size.. however it needs a non-fairuse map and a better referencing system. drumguy8800 C T 14:38, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

McKinney Avenue Transit AuthorityM-Line Trolley – I feel like this would make better sense due to both Wikipedia:COMMONNAME and the fact that the article is moreso about the trolley itself rather than the agency that manages it. Support: Moving to M-Line Trolley is sensible, "it is an example of a heritage streetcar running historic cars" is just one of many examples of the article clearly focusing on the streetcar service. Andrew Matheny (talk) 19:17, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
M-Line Trolley probably makes more sense, rather than a rename to McKinney Avenue Trolley. M-Line Trolley is how DART and most signage refers to it. This trolley system is quite unusual in that a non-profit organization is the operator of trolleys ranging in age up to nearly 120 years old in urban regular service, and I hope the article continues to make that distinction. n2xjk (talk) 04:28, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
