[edit]On riding this cable car we were told that the final stage was the longest teleferique stage in the world. Also that some time ago it snapped killing a couple of climbers going up and that 30 or so tourists on the way down had to be rescued by helicopter from from the car on the way down. I just wonder whether this is true or just a myth - one can see a cable car on the ground about half way along the final stage. True or not - makes the ride a bit more exciting.
