I've declined (and removed) the speedy deletion tag placed on this article for a couple of different reasons; primarily because this is a fictional character and there is no speedy category for that. Also, this character has notability both for Clifton Webb's Academy Award nomination for playing him, and for the television series based around him. I've left the clean-up tags but I think I'll bring this to the attention of the Media Franchises group. Accounting4Taste:talk17:22, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
While those who are most influenced by the TV series will probably (if I recall) know him best just as "Mr. Belvedere", I chose to use the full name to make the title as unambiguous as possible, considering he exists in three different media. Especially considering Mr. Belvedere is currently home to the series. I started out just making a disambiguation page, but when I asked, was told it was better as a stub since they are all essentially the same character. (If anyone is curious, I came looking for Lynn Belvedere due to a reference in an essay I was reading, so I say something needs to exist at these pages :P) - BalthCat (talk) 18:18, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
