Someone updated the article today to emphasise the depressing fact of the sea gates being broken and the harbour silted and out of use. This isn't my geographical area or my field at all so I can only go on what I see, but I do feel that an update is needed as there is apparently regeneration work, some complete and some still planned, including dredging and gate repair. In fact it all sounds rather wonderful and makes me want to visit! I think the project is or was called Destination Lydney Harbour and the consortium behind it is or was the Lydney Coastal Community Team.
I don't know if I will get round to doing anything with all this or if I have the knowledge to try, but I hope someone will. Googling the above terms would get you some stuff but here are a couple of starters for reference:
So, I don't know ... can anyone make something of this? I would love to but realistically I fear I might never be able to get round to it. Watching with interest, best to all, DBaK (talk) 09:42, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
