International option . . .
[edit]I agree with Nehwyn that the international option seems to be just a subset of the general French bac. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis 18:59, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Noted alumni
[edit]We need good sources for some of these alumni. Quite often the only sources are just repetitions of the WikiP article. For example, there is no independent confirmation that Jessica Biel graduated from the Lycee. Every source turned up by Google gives virtually the same wording that we have in WP. Can't do that. Many parts of the article sound more like an ad for the school than factual elements.
Some examples: "All students are exposed to stimulating coursework", "Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles has graduated hundreds of students who have enrolled in the most prestigious colleges and universities in the world and proceeded to distinguish themselves...", "the combination of the best in American secondary education, namely, the Advanced Placement program in high school, and of the best in French education, the French Baccalaureate, which has achieved worldwide recognition." (not actually about the school, but makes the school look good) among others. 195.132.95.223 (talk) 22:02, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Alumni references 21-NOV-2018
[edit]The addition of certain individuals to the alumni section must follow the guidelines as shown in WP:ALUMNI, which includes references for these claims. Spintendo 16:57, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
- UPDATE 21-NOV-2018:
- The claim regarding Jodie Foster has been confirmed by The New York Times and the reference was added to the school's article.
- The claim regarding Noah Hathaway cannot be confirmed.
- The claim regarding Claire Danes is referenced in the Claire Danes article, however, the reference is an audio podcast which is behind a paywall and for which no time index has been enetered. The claim should therefore continue to be viewed as dubious until confirmed otherwise. Spintendo 18:10, 21 November 2018 (UTC)

Not a boarding school
[edit]While this school takes international students, it does not maintain a dormitory and does not directly make housing arrangements. Therefore it is not a boarding school https://www.lyceela.org/admissions/international-applicants WhisperToMe (talk) 03:33, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
