Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.
What is the origin/etymology of the place name "Nuangola"? Badagnani 23:02, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- It is supposedly based on the name of an Indian maiden who drowned at the lake - would be derived from words of either the Lenape (an Algonquian language) or Susquehanna (who spoke an Iroquoian language). Parkwells (talk) 21:57, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
