The Portuguese version says only that the station was inspired on a station in Melbourne, looking at the pictures of both, it seems the model was the Flinders Street Station. Mário 12:57, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
hi my name is aniley and i was sondering the address of this station. help/ :]
Luz Station was built in 1901, Flinders Street Station in 1910. Therefore it is more likely that Luz Station was the influence for Flinders street and not the other way around! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 57.66.138.14 (talk) 13:07, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]The station is mostly notable for lodging the Museum of the Portuguese Language, established in 2006
I'm Brazilian, living in São Paulo for many years and I must say I don't agree with that. The station has been a symbol of São Paulo city since it was inaugurated in the beginning of the 20th century. It was not the museum which made it notable, it would be notable anyway, with or without the museum and it still is by far much more notable and famous than this museum (which was only stablished in 2006...). It should be rewritten. Dornicke (talk) 15:48, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
