Title
[edit]As much of the content of the article, and the subject of interest to many people, is not so much luxury goods produced in China but the market for luxury goods by Chinese, which is to a large extent met by European suppliers, I think a title such as Chinese luxury goods market might be more appropriate. The current title is misleading
[edit]The title currently implies that the article will be about Luxury goods either MADE IN China or PRODUCED BY Chinese luxury brands. Instead, the content of the article discusses the luxury market in China. Therefore, the title should be: "Luxury Market in China" MexFin (talk) 10:28, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- A change makes sense on your rationale. But is the suggested result, "Luxury market in (country name)" a common usage?
- would "Luxury goods in China" be preferable? JArthur1984 (talk) 20:31, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- I agree with Mexfin; the title should be changed to "Luxury Goods Consumption in China." None of these brands are Chinese, and though the article is supposed to be about luxury consumption and the demand for luxury goods in China, the current title may mislead readers who are not knowledgeable about the topic, giving the impression that these brands are made in China. janesterling (talk) 17:13, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
