[edit]

I've moved this back from "Luxembourgian" Cricket Team, since people from that country are not "Luxembourgian" in the first place. The CIA World Factbook says that they're "Luxembourgers" and adjectivally "Luxembourg", which would make this the "Luxemboug Cricket Team" (in line with the Luxembourg national football team and suchlike). The other alternative which seems viable would be "Luxembourgish", in line with the "Luxembourgish language" they speak in the Grand Duchy. 'Luxembourgian' is the adjectival form. See WikiProject Luxembourg for the guidelines on nomenclature. 'Luxembourgish' refers solely to the language; hence 'Luxembourgish books' would mean books written in that language, whilst 'Luxembourgian books' would mean books written by Luxembourgers. National football teams use country names (e.g. Germany national football team), so the analogy is false, and the Luxembourgian page is correctly titled in that instance. I'd ask why national football teams use country names and everything else doesn't, but I'm afraid there's an answer. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 23:47, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
