Missing Compilation
[edit]Why don't you have this compilation in the discography? Leitmotiv (talk) 17:36, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Removal of PROD
[edit]The recent removal of the PROD stinks. First WP:GNG is a preliminary step in assessing notability. A competent editor then moves to a specialized set of guidelines for the article, which I did, with a brief explanation. The editor ought to have addressed those issues, rather than fall back on a generalized guideline. Any idiot or his mother who puts out a song gets mentioned in AllMusic. A brief mention in Billboard absolutely doesn't meet WP:MUS, let alone any of the other mentions. This nominal editor has forced an entry in WP:AfD. Thanks a lot! - WP:GNG is not the preliminary stage it is in most cases the only requirement, also most music articles that are prodded by experienced editors do not have significant coverage at Allmusic as well as Quitus, Pitchfork, Eagle Tribune which are all independent reliable sources. If it goes to AFD it will most likely to be kept as passing WP:GNG which is sufficient for musicians. Atlantic306 (talk) 19:05, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Thanks. Tapered (talk) 11:15, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
