On 9 November 2024, it was proposed that this article be moved from Lupin the 3rd Part V: Misadventures in France to Lupin the 3rd Part 5. The result of the discussion was moved.

"Lupin the Third" vs "Lupin the 3rd"

Discotek uses "Lupin the Third" for the US title, while TMS alternates between "3rd" and "Third," (looks like mostly "3rd.")

A good lead would be Lupin the Third Part V: Misadventures in France, also known simply as Lupin the 3rd Part 5 (Japanese: ルパン三世 PART5, Hepburn: Rupan Sansei Pāto Faibu). That gets the TMS and Discotek localizations and the Japanese title. The page would have to be moved/renamed but I think this is more accurate to how it's been released in the US.

After re-reviewing this, Discotek does use "3rd" for the TV shows and "Third" for the specials. Whoops! This can be disregarded.
