[edit]Hey You guys,
I try to write a articlwe about this firm on Wikipedia,
but somehow it gets tagged "advertisment" all the time... What should I do.
I truly believe that the entry for LundXY could be a great contribution to Wikipedia, since this firms influence on scandinavian media branch is enormous.
I will try to link more independent reports about the firm, but please give me a hint how to improve th article.
Thanks for your help, Benjamin
- Hi Benjamin, Please read our policies on notability and verifiability first. That will help you to decide if the firm is really notable; if not, then we can just wait until such time as it might become notable. Then, you need to cite some reliable sources to show that it's notable.
- You might want to start a new article in your sandbox, at User:BenjaminHabbel/sandbox and ask for some comments there first. Once it seems robust, then you can move it into the main article space. --AndrewHowse (talk) 15:00, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah thanks for the note.
I am rewriting the article right now, including the historical aspect and the influence of the firm on danish media.
The firm holds the most read newspaper and I work on a paper describing the process.
All this are reliable infoirmation backed by CNBC and other high profile news corporations. I'll add more sources during the day.
Thanks for supporting me in my endevour to write a noitable contribution Benjamin —Preceding unsigned comment added by BenjaminHabbel (talk • contribs) 15:09, 23 April 2008 (UTC) --BenjaminHabbel (talk) 15:13, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sure everything you say here is true, and I note your sources added, but please think about notability too. In other words, why do we need a page here at all? --AndrewHowse (talk) 16:13, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for recognizing the effort. I'm still working on that.
notability is pretty easy to explain. The firm is of huge public interest since it holds the biggest and most read newspaper in Denmark and is covered by news worldwide.
I'm still editing...writing a school appaer about it... —Preceding unsigned comment added by BenjaminHabbel (talk • contribs) 22:12, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

LETS MOVE IT TO: LundXY
[edit]How can I do that? --BenjaminHabbel (talk) 06:51, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Using the "move" tab (presumably at the top of the page). Already done, by me - Nabla (talk) 12:11, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Reads like advert
[edit]When an article on an otherwise encyclopedic topic has the tone of an advertisement, the article can often be salvaged by rewriting it in a neutral point of view and adding context, e.g., historical relevance or community recognition. Please provide sources to establish the subject's notability. Of course, the need for sources goes beyond notability. Information added to an article must be verifiable, and facts included must be attributed to a reliable source. Please also see Wikipedia's guideline concerning conflicts of interest. --Evb-wiki (talk) 12:32, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
- I removed most of the peacock terms so that it reads more neutral. --Evb-wiki (talk) 18:10, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
