City officials

[edit]

I removed the city officials information, per WP:USCITY, WP:N, and WP:NOTNEWS. WP:USCITY is a guideline establishe by the cities Wikiproject to help work towards consistent data in city articles. Wikipedia is not the government hosting site for Luna Pier, that information already exists in the city's own website, which is already linked to from the article. The reason given for adding it back was "Deleting city officials while maintaining restaurant names does not provide definitive data." Just because other material which does not belong in the article exists does not justify adding this content back. I've re-removed the material as well as having removed the additional problematic content which was pointed out. In addition, I've also fixed the external links content to follow WP:USCITY, WP:ELNO, and WP:NOT#REPOSITORY. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 02:04, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
