Vandals

[edit]

A coordinated attack from 4chan being done on this page and Ataru Moroboshi's page. I suggest locking the two for now. --Lamango (talk) 08:34, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Horoscope

[edit]

Her sign is apparently the tiger-striped unicorn according to the fourteenth episode, should this be put in the personality section somewhere? felinoel (talk) 22:15, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As this would mean nothing to anyone, there's not really any reason to include this. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 01:35, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lum Invader?

[edit]

Why is she in here as "Lum Invader" as if "Invader" was her surname.

As far as both the manga and anime ever shows, Lum has no surname. Her father's reference to himself as "an invader" refers to his profession, not to his name (his name is never given).

I think that this article should be renamed to simply "Lum", with a link from "Lumchan". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.124.149.116 (talk) 21:28, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are a couple reasons why: she's referred to that in several sources, and to disambiguate this article from all the other Lum articles. This article can't be at Lum as there are other articles with similar notability, so Lum is a disambiguation page. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 22:28, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And these sources would be? Even the Japanese wiki doesn't call her that. Evan1975 (talk) 06:46, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's because she's not called that in Japanese. She is called that (and the name is alluded to) in several English manga translations as well as in a few books. I'll have to see if I can find them. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 07:34, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'd like to open up this topic again. Please read this Twitter thread[1] and judge if the name of the page should be changed to something like Lum (Urusei Yatsura) or what you see fit. Thanks. MushroomMan674 (talk) 22:42, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(outdent) Please the convention followed here for disambiguation purposes: Chi-Chi (Dragon Ball). --Omnipaedista (talk) 11:35, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Giant?

[edit]

I just wanted to ask, does Lum count as a fictional giant? I'm not that familiar with the series so forgive me if this is a dumb question.--185.32.8.34 (talk) 06:27, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think she does. This article is also in the Fictional ogres category which is already part of giants category.--195.178.177.170 (talk) 06:42, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I could be wrong but far as I know her powers doesn't include any growing/shrinking abilities, so no she is not a giant in that sense I guess.--109.228.170.122 (talk) 08:40, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
