President of the Europe Region and Tiepolo Prize update
Hello everyone! I have noticed that the biography of Luigi Ferraris should be revised.
In December, Luigi Ferraris was appointed as the new President of the Europe Region, for the period 2024-2025, by the UIC (International Union of Railways) Europe Regional Assembly. He also won the Tiepolo Prize 2022 for his contribution to improving economic-commercial relations between Italy and Spain.
I propose the change and shown below:
On 13 December 2023 Luigi Ferraris was appointed as the new Chairman of the Europe Region for the period 2024-2025 by the UIC Europe (International Union of Railways) Regional Assembly.[1] Among the various awards, he received the Tiepolo Prize 2022 for his contribution to improving economic-commercial relations between Italy and Spain, and the Italy Informa Prize 2023, awarded annually to people who have particularly distinguished themselves during their life and professional careers.[2]
