I studied at the gymnasium of the Old City of Regiomontanae, and then after my father died at the Frederich gymnasium of Berlin. In 1875, I was accepted as a student at the beloved university of letters, called Frederick Wilhelm (or William). I studied for four years there, except two semesters at Heidelberg and Leipzig, focusing on studies in mathematics, physics, philosophy of the works of Borchardt, Helmholtz, G.
