Noted
[edit]What exactly is a "noted" poet? I mean, who made a note about her, and what did it say? And what, for that matter, is an unnoted poet? Just curious. PiCo 04:11, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Noted means her works were published and discussed, and she made an impression on people. I used 'noted' in the article to describe her sister Margaret, not Lucretia herself. An unnoted poet is a poet whose works were never published or praised, sort of like an 'amateur poet'. Algabal 04:54, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. I was just curious about what the word meant. :). PiCo 06:00, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Davidson was an extremely precocious child - in who's opinion?
- Catherine Maria Sedgwick called her a precocious genius, and a few others. Algabal 23:39, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
