article name

Despite the recent conversation at the G&R project, I've moved this and a couple of related articles back to their old names. My reasons:

Many articles link to the original name. When I created the article, I meticulously searched for links to this man and made sure they were correct, and added links if they had been missing; if an editor doesn't care to do the same, why should that editor be making the decision on naming?
This Lucius Valerius Flaccus is easily confused with his cousin and son and various others, and I gave a lot of thought as to how best to distinguish them.
He's not the only LVF to be a consul (the 'suffect' may be meaningless to some people).
The year is the best way to help users pinpoint which man they're looking for.

Sorry, to clarify: the main potential for confusing these two men lies in the fact that they were both highly active and highly visible in 86 BC; that's why the year is the crucial point of distinction. Cynwolfe (talk) 15:53, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
