I have assessed this article as a Start class article for the Military History project. Please note that the project doesn't use C class and as it doesn't quite meet B class requirements it must therefore receive a Start class rating. Having said this, I feel it is quite a decent article and is almost at B class level. To meet the criteria for B class the article would need some kind of supporting material, such as a photo or an infobox. If one or both of these could be added, I feel it would probably be a B class article. If you would like to seek further feedback about improvements, please consider listing it for a peer review at WP:MHPR. I've updated the assessment to reflect the addition of the infobox. Thanks for adding that. If you could find an image to add the article (of Northrop), that would be a further improvement, but it doesn't need that for B class. I changed the rank image in the infobox because it appeared to be for major, not captain. Finally, I think I found the right image for the CSA colonel ranks. I found them over at Commons here: [1].
