- ... that the largest wilderness area of France, Lucifer Dékou-Dékou Biological Reserve, is home to the country's biggest mining project Montagne d'Or mine? Source: [1][2]
- Reviewed: Zach Eflin
- Comment: Both sources are in French and should be used together to verify the hook.

- Article is long enough (1997 characters), new enough (created 24 March, nominated same day), and article is within policy
- The proposed hook is short enough, interesting and in the article. However, [3] is a petition, I don't see how this classifies as a reliable source, when the purpose of the source is to promote a cause (in this case, against the gold mine). Ashleyyoursmile would you be able to find a better source about the mines? Source for the first half of the hook looks acceptable
- QPQ done
- Needs a better source to verify the second half of the hook. Then I can mark as good to go. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:46, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Joseph2302: The L'âge de faire link in the article also says "la plus grande mine de l’histoire de France". If you want MSM. [4] France Info is the biggest news and TV outlet in French Guiana (state-owned). "la plus grande mine d'or jamais exploitée sur le sol français" [5] LCI (La Chaîne Info) is a commercial news channel. "plus grande mine d'or à ciel ouvert de France" KittenKlub (talk) 15:09, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- Looks like KittenKlub has taken care of it. How does it look now, Joseph2302? Ashleyyoursmile! 16:25, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- looks fine now, thanks. Joseph2302 (talk) 22:16, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
