Lucid Dreams
[edit]I feel like it was more accurate after me changing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.44.168.119 (talk) 14:16, 8 October 2018 (UTC)
How was my genre addition a misrepresentation of the source? The article literally described the song EveryonesFAVORITE*toy (talk) 22:07, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
— “Lucid Dreams” is lush loner music, an inheritor of the emotional hip-hop of the last decade, delivered with the raw texture of the SoundCloud rap generation and a deeply keen sense of pop efficiency." -New York Times EveryonesFAVORITE*toy (talk) 22:13, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
- Calling it "an inheritor of the emotional hip-hop of the last decade" isn't directly attributing the song to emo hip-hop. See WP:EXPLICITGENRES. Hayman30 (talk) 00:23, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
Emo=emotional?? But ok EveryonesFAVORITE*toy (talk) 02:10, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
Altercation heard at the beginning of Lucid Dreams
[edit]I don't think this is notable enough to include in the main article (if anything, it's just needless trivia which a significant number of people MAY be curious about), but a video of the actual fight heard at the beginning of the song can be found on YouTube. Lucid Dreams (Juice Wrld song) → Lucid Dreams – The 11x platinum record with 30x more pageviews is likely the primary topic here. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 04:06, 5 October 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. BegbertBiggs (talk) 12:03, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nom. An overwhelming primary topic. Station1 (talk) 19:37, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. The plural of Lucid dream is more notable, capitalised or not. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:34, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
Oppose, Lucid dream, singular or plural, is primary, secondary, and so on. Randy Kryn (talk) 14:01, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- WP:DAB § Different spelling variants says capitalization is an OK disambiguator. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 14:38, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. While the Juice song is incredibly notable, this feels like an Apple / Apple Inc. situation. The capitalized form can still sometimes refer to the dream-related concept, and thus it makes sense that the capitalized version redirects to the disambiguation page. Paintspot Infez (talk) 16:41, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Paintspot: Not sure I'm following ... "Apple" as the company would be the same page title as the fruit; here capitalization in the middle of the title disambiguates, which is OK per above. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 18:18, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:DIFFCAPS, the concept is primary here. Polyamorph (talk) 08:18, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. In as much as the pageviews is a factor, Lucid Dreams (Franz Ferdinand song), pageviews or not, makes an argument. Intrisit (talk) 08:47, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
