[edit]I have listed this as a possible hoax. A number of his "pieces" are named after Scotch whisky and the person's surname is given as "Brewaeys"--MacRusgail (talk) 17:09, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's not a hoax. The man is actually quite known in Belgium. The "surprising" names of his works are a bit of a trade mark.
- (His family name is pronounced "Bray why's", BTW. Nothing to do with breweries...) ;-)
- I removed the hoax-template and entered a selective bibliography in the article.
- English language website] about the man. --Luxem (talk) 18:25, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- This is good to know. I still find it strange naming pieces Laphroaig and Talisker and having "brew" in his name... but being wikipedia, it was best to be verified.--MacRusgail (talk) 20:40, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- Now I'm wondering if he himself has made the connection. The average native Dutch-speaker wouldn't recognise the "brew" in the name (since the word is split in syllables between the e and the w : Bre-waeys). I think it's quite funny, really. --Luxem (talk) 21:50, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
