This article is about a topic whose name is originally rendered in the Burmese script; however the article does not have that version of its name in the article's lead paragraph. Anyone who is knowledgeable enough with the original language is invited to assist in adding the Burmese script. For more information, see: MOS:FOREIGN·Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Burmese).
This is a good question -- Luangpho Ajahn (หลวงพ่ออาจาร) is a title, but I don't know about "Tala". This confusion extends to the names of several other monks, whose titles are often confused for names; this apparent by how they are sometimes sorted, for example, Theravada monks whose names have been merged with the title "Phra" (พระ), such as Phrabhavanaviriyakhun. But I must admit that this is mostly deductive reasoning on my part. Perhaps there is some Thai convention that I am completely unaware of. (Please let me know.) Still, I'd vote to move this page to one which doesn't include the honorifics. Aaron Lee (talk) 17:00, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
