AfD consensus
[edit]The overwhelming AfD vote on the Loxian article was "keep", so why has the article been redirected?? wikipediatrix 02:54, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
Copyright
[edit]Is it legal to copyright a language? 65.160.192.31 20:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- It is if you create it, it seems. Although why anyone would be interested in using it remains a mystery to me. I mean, would you pay royalties by the word, sentence, paragraph or discourse? With all the real languages in the world to choose from, this is simply daft. RJCraig 16:17, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- O rly? A language is a method of communication, and at least the U.S. does not recognize copyrights on methods. Works that use or describe those methods, on the other hand, are more likely copyrightable. What applies to the Klingon language likely applies here as well. --Damian Yerrick (☎) 22:42, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Speakers
[edit]"total speakers" should be 2, because I guess Ryan speaks it too, if it was created by her. btw is this that strange writing on the CD sleeve? – – Alensha 寫 词 17:44, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- Not necessarily. Just because she created doesn't necessarily mean she speaks it. She could easily have just developed the rules for phonetics and grammar, make up some words that fit, and when she needs to create a sentence, just look at her lists and tables. For that matter, Enya may not even be actually speaking it, but simply pronouncing it -- not necessarily understanding the words she says. (There are probably numerous choir singers out there who do this with Latin Church songs). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.95.237.181 (talk) 23:08, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
ROFL...anyone knows that she just has nothing to say...
The First Loxian Games
[edit]This sentence either needs more context or it needs to be removed. Lack of citation, questionable notability, lack of enough context to even make sense of what's being said. 71.192.97.11 (talk) 14:59, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
