Same as Mahabharat Range
[edit]This range is also known as the Mahabharat Range in Nepal and India. Can the two articles be merged? —Preceding unsigned comment added by LADave (talk • contribs) 07:10, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Also propose renaming this article to Lesser Himalaya, then merging Mahabharat Range into it. LADave (talk) 10:04, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
I don't know this was merged with Mahabharat Range or not but the range Lesser Himalaya is called Mahabharat Range in Nepal only. It is called Dhauladhar Range in Indian states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. So treating this equal to Mahabhart Range is somehow not fair as it runs full length parallel to Great Himalaya but its name Mahabharat range is applicabe only to the portion which lies in Nepal. Kindly suggest proper naming.--SatyamMishra (talk) 19:45, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
