Census information

[edit]

Fair enough.  I won't delete it.  Honestly, though, it doesn't seem to serve any purpose, although I have seen this type of information table-ized in other articles.  I would be willing to make a table for it here, too.  What do you think? — John 18:41, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Listing historic census information allows readers to see if a settlement is growing or declining, as well as historic population trends. 1989-2002 range is especially important as it compares the numbers from the late years of the Soviet Union with the numbers of post-reform Russia.
As for putting this into a table, I have no objections, except that it seems a little silly to make a table for just two entries. I, unfortunately, don't have settlement-level Census information from prior to 1989.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 18:49, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
