U.S. only?
[edit]Is Love On Tour officially ending after the third show in Inglewood or is Harry Styles going to announce overseas tour dates for 2022? 72.92.40.56 (talk) 20:32, 11 September 2021 (UTC)
Different page for love on tour 22/23
[edit]The page for Love on Tour 22/23 Should be different then the page for Love on Tour 21 because the setlist is very different and the promotion/artwork is very different. They are not even supporting the same album. 192.208.124.148 (talk) 22:24, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
set list
[edit]the set list is out of date, he performs songs from his latest album last year and now Kst daniel (talk) 02:36, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hence why the changes were noted in the "Notes" section. We don't need to list every single dang set list that's ever been performed. It's redundant and, quite frankly, fancruft fluff. Want those kind of edits? Head to Fandom/Wikia. livelikemusic (TALK!) 19:44, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- The setlist needs to be separated by pre-Harry's House and post-Harry's House. Any other your that massively changes the setlist partway through has dedicated sections for each distinct setlist. That note about the set list change is really bulky when you could just show the two different set lists. Setlist section
[edit]I made a statement on livelikemusic's page, but I wanted to reiterate on this page as well. I didn't know this before making the edits myself to include the setlist after the release of Harry's House, but it seems there have been multiple attempts to include the setlist from the first North American leg in 2021 (the only setlist currently on the page), as well as a second setlist after the release of Harry's House, which he toured the first and second European leg, the second North American leg, as well as the legs in Asia, Latin America, and Oceania. I am only proposing that at a minimum we include the 2021 North American leg setlist, as well as just one setlist from the 2022 European leg and beyond. These legs highlight completely separate albums, and even though they are on the same tour, the overall experience from the show is vastly different looking at the first leg's setlist, and every leg following. I understand the claim for redundancy, but including one more setlist, that contains a majority of songs not played in the first setlist would not be considered redundant by any means. The current "inclusion" of what songs were removed and added in the Additional Notes section is not nearly detailed enough to represent the drastic changes that the setlist endured after the release of Harry's House. I see the claims of "fancruft", but when you look at the pages for other major tours, especially of the same caliber (or less) than Love On Tour, they include multiple setlists if necessary. It seems this has been a frequent proposal to update the page, and I'm not sure that one user reverting any and all changes made to this section is appropriate given the demand to include a second setlist. All proposals seem to have the same mindset regarding the importance of giving more detail to the difference in setlists pre and post Harry's House release in 2022. - As noted above, the changes are sourced and mentioned in the "Alterations" (then "Notes) section, which is fully acceptable. The need [some] users have to include every set list is very much "fan" driven and more Fandom/Wikia behaviour, which noting the changes in the "Alterations" section is fully acceptable. Not to mention, the tour was launched as a promotional campaign for the Fine Line project. And just because "other pages" do something does mean that is what should be done. livelikemusic (TALK!) 23:39, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- Other tour pages do this because it is a necessary part of understanding a difference in setlists. The tour was first launched in support of Fine Line, but as I stated multiple times, every single leg after the first North American leg was in support of Harry's House. All I'm asking is that there be one extra setlist to represent this, as the setlist, as well as the tour itself, changed completely. I'm not trying to be rude, but it seems as though you didn't read my entire proposal, as you only commented on a small part of it. Are you the end-all be-all for this specific tour page? I'm not sure that just because you feel it is unnecessary to include one more setlist means it's actually unnecessary. I've given a plethora of reasons why including another setlist to represent his tour from May 2022- July 2023 is entirely necessary, and it's not something that only makes sense to be on a Fandom page. Again, the additional notes section is far too vague. Instafamous23 (talk) 16:00, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- I did read the whole thing so please don't not assume good faith in that; once again, there is zero need to add an entirely separate set list when citing the changes in prose (Alterations) suffices. Refrain from personal attacks on editors. livelikemusic (TALK!) 02:45, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
