Infobox and lead
[edit]- West initially shared the song on September 10, 2008, before re-recording it after negative reactions. Mention that it was shared on his blog
- "Love Lockdown" has been certified quadruple platinum and gold in the United States and the UK Abbreviate US or don't abbreviate UK; looks weird only doing one
- Not done since I have already stated "the United Kingdom" earlier in the lead, but not "the United States" because there was no point to mention the country before --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- Is the cover for the digital edition or CD or vinyl? use |caption=
- Done does this text look fine? --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- Infobox looks great; proper fair use rationale given
- Thank you, that is amazing to hear!!! --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
Background and release
[edit]- started to play keyboards for West's band due to them needing someone to fill in on keyboards You don't need to mention that he plays keyboard twice in the same sentence; the sentence can end after fill in
- Would you be able to cite each sentence/qoute with ref names; main issue is that the reader (if he cares about the source) needs to check three sources even if he only cares about one quote etc.
- Done for the above --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
Composition and lyrics
[edit]- Why does File:Love Lockdown.ogg include information for "Paranoid"?
- Must have been a glitch since other songs from 808s & Heartbreak seem to say this too; I have fixed this summary now though --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- simplistic, succinct and powerful thats basically a quote from the article; lyrics described or quatation marks
Release, Critical reception, music video
[edit]- No issues
Commercial performance
[edit]- sales of 4,000,000 certified units in the US. units are not sales
- Done does this look fine? --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- chart and remained in the top 40 for consecutive weeks For how many consecutive weeks was it in the top 40?
- Done but does it make sense to count the week it reached number 39 as one of the consecutive weeks in this prose? --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- and the Official Finnish Singles Chart of Finland You don't need to say Finland twice
Live performances, Other versions, track listing, credits and personnel
[edit]- No issues
References
[edit]- Ref 3: What is this number "0-06025-1791919-8"?
- It is the album's id --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- Ref 42: Needs trans-title
- Ref 77-80: You link to Official Charts Company twice, why?
- Ref 79 is from the single chart template, so it is not possible to remove the wikilink --K. Peake 13:52, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
Other
[edit]- Copy Violation low - I see no issue
Outcome

- Lirim.z Thank you, but you have forgotten to update the status on appropriate pages so I will do that for you, which is not classified reviewing my own article due to only passing it on the other pages after you have done so in the review. --K. Peake 06:50, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
