- I'm not sure why that would be. Older does not equal more important or scholarly, and it doesn't seem as though the prominence of the lottery is somehow much less now than it was then.--Yaksar (let's chat) 01:21, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
- Well, this article is (1) unreferenced (2) has no major events attached to it. The 19th century one has several scandals attached to it, and was the only major lottery in the United States to exist in its period. So, from surface appearances, this modern corporation is nothing more than an average lottery corporation, while the other one has significant events and characteristics attached to it. -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 02:28, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
