[edit]Canberra Times: Ellery shoots to the top while Cowdrey also breaks world record, Canberra Times (Australia) - Friday, October 8, 2010, Provided By: Financial Times Limited - Asia Africa Intelligence Wire, Index Terms: General News ; Sports, Location(s): Australia India Asia Australasia South Asia, Record Number: WCTS81906391. Quote: Louise Ellery 's Commonwealth Games success has been 12 years, one car crash and a remarkable comeback in the making. Next week the 33-year-old will return to Canberra as the F32 women's shot put champion after claiming victory yesterday. … Both Ellery and Cowdrey broke their own world records. Ellery's personal best of 6.17m added four centimetres to the mark she set in January, while 21-year-old Cowdrey sliced one one-hundreth of a second off the previous time in stopping the clock at 25.33sec. … "It's pretty overwhelming and I haven't grasped it yet." Ellery suffered an acquired brain injury in 1998 as a result of a car crash which doctors feared would leave her in a vegetative state. She has gone on to represent Australia in athletics at both the 2004 and 2008 Paralympic Games. --LauraHale (talk) 10:06, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Louise Ellery
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Louise Ellery's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
