A mystery
[edit]After the government surrendered to Prussia in January 1871, General Paladines was appointed as head of the National Guard, whose members deeply resented having him as their commander. Why? If curious, take a look at Marx's The Civil War in France. However, I am mystified as to why Marx calls him a Jesuit. Bandiera 04:54, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
