For later career, I think you mean he worked for a liquor distributor in Northern California, not Southern California. To be precise, he worked for Julliard Alpha Liquor Company, Brisbane, Ca. I worked with him there for 6 years. After he left JALCo, he went to work for a competing liquor distributor, although I am not sure which of the two competitors he went to work for at that time (1992/1993 timeframe).
