Jocelyn Lovell Fund Game
[edit]I remember in the early 1980's shortly after Jocelyn Lovell had his accident, Lou helped organize a charity hockey game to raise money to help Lovell and/or his causes. (I also remember from my childhood Lou and his brother Gary playing endless hours of catch in their driveway...)
I wonder if there's any documentation of that charity hockey game? Such would also point to documentation of Lou's post-playing career.--SportWagon (talk) 16:18, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- Blue Banner 1983 - announces this event on Wed Dec 14, 1983 (does not indicate whether Lou Nistico was involved); Event might (but probably won't) finesse into Jocelyn Lovell article, but not here based just on that. --SportWagon (talk) 19:18, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- PDF of a St. Micheals College article, Fall 2008 about the Flying Fathers which mentions the game.--SportWagon (talk) 19:32, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
