[edit]Our convention is that articles should not begin with honorifics, unless unavoidable, for disambiguation. Two of the less important members of Category:Wellesley family flout this convention, this article and Lord George Wellesley.
I suggest this article should be retitled Charles Wellesley (General) and the other retitled George Wellesley (Wing Commander). Geo Swan (talk) 02:45, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Naming conventions (royalty and nobility) suggests courtesy titles such as Lord are acceptable if the subject was more commonly known by this title. Barret (talk) 21:36, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
