Roger Tasker
[edit]The current reference to him seems to start here. However, he is not mentioned in either: -
1. The list in the Book of Dignities
2. O'Flanagan's 'The Lives of the Lord Chancellors'
3. Ball's 'Judges in Ireland'.
I therefore propose to delete him.

15th/16th century
[edit]Following pages 113-4 and 155 of Volume 1 of Elrington Ball's 'The Judges in Ireland', I have amended the article to show Walter Fitzsimon holding the office until his death in 1511, William Rokeby's first term lasting from 1512-13 and Nicholas St Lawrence, 4th Baron Howth not holding it - Ball says that he was Chancellor of the Exchequer of Ireland. John Tapton
[edit]On his page there is no indication that John Tapton was Lord Chancellor of Ireland. Jackiespeel (talk) 11:41, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
