I disagree. Although a case could be made for incorporating its contents into the chip seal article, the page is particularly useful in explaining the significance of the "Loose chippings" sign in the UK (and its equivalents in other European countries), where it is used in the specific circumstance of a newly surface-dressed road (and is thus a temporary sign, normally displayed for no more than a few days). Additionally, the technical term "chip seal" means little or nothing to the general public (in the UK at least) while "loose chippings" is a well-known term here for the temporary road hazard mentioned above -- though its meaning may be less obvious to those from other English-speaking communities. -- Picapica (talk) 00:42, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
