Update to key facts about this organization
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
- What I think should be changed (include citations):
Change the first section to:
LoopUp is a global provider of cloud communications and collaboration solutions for enterprises. Done.
LoopUp’s core product is cloud telephony for Microsoft Teams as an end-to-end managed service. Other solutions offered by LoopUp include a SaaS platform for remote meetings and operator-managed large online meetings. [1] Done.
In September 2021 the company announced the acquisition of SyncRTC, parent company of hybrid collaboration SaaS technology platform mashme.io. [2] Done. This was added to the History section. Crunchbase is a deprecated source, so I used this one instead.
Co-CEOs Steve Flavell and Michael Hughes founded LoopUp in 2003 in San Francisco and London. [3] Done. The source provided is deadlinked, so I used this one.
In 2016, LoopUp was listed on the AIM market (LON: LOOP). [4] Done. This was added to the History section.
LoopUp is headquartered in London, UK. Other offices include Barbados, Berlin, Boston, Hong Kong, Madrid, Malmo, San Francisco and Sydney. [5] Done. Heartmusic678 (talk) 12:35, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
- Why it should be changed:
The text in the first section is now factually inaccurate. This is because previous edits have been reverted on the basis that they were promotional and/or made by people with a potential COI. We would like someone to revise this section so that it is up-to-date and factually accurate! (note that I have a COI)
