Innappropriate tone and style...
[edit]Please help improve this article! It is a bit of a shambles, including the line '...that she is one of THEM and rapes her.' We do not need to be surprised. Thanks!--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 18:55, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
"Official poster"
[edit]The official poster uploaded is pulled from IMDb. The source has no reference to how or what context this image is from and there is no branding from the production either. Based on the font style of the cover, this was not a poster to promote the film. I propose the nominator @DisneyMetalhead: remove it or confirm its origins. - @Andrzejbanas: thank you for tagging the image instead of proposing to delete it. I have corrected the source.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 03:59, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
- @DisneyMetalhead okay just to clarify, this doesn't seem to be a poster. There is nothing about cast or anything that looks like a promotional material of its era. I'm very confident this is not an official related to the work and Box Office Mojo is owned and neither has any suggestion of where this came from. Andrzejbanas (talk) 05:37, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
- Looking it up, the image in question appears to be from a bootleg DVD release. You can see the cover and backing here on this eBay listing here. You can tell that this is a bootleg as it has no copyright and legal information at all on it. I've tried to find any other sources of this image, but have come up with nothing else. I've found earlier promotional material related to tv screening, and I'm going to try and use it instead of that works out @DisneyMetalhead. Andrzejbanas (talk) 19:05, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
- I added reliable sources, @Andrzejbanas. The question is now -- What didn't you like about the sources? DisneyMetalhead (talk) 23:08, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- Well your sources still have no indication its a poster, or anyything related to the studio, there is no branding whatsoever, and the eBay link i posted above showcases that this is a bootleg dvd cover. Letterboxd is not a reliable source, its all a user driven database. The Box Office Mojo information is great for box office info, but it's also pulling images from IMDb. The onus is up to you to suggest how they actually back up what you state @DisneyMetalhead Andrzejbanas (talk) 23:29, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- I have linked the reliable sources already. What alternate image did you find? DisneyMetalhead (talk) 23:09, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- The images i'd suggest are newspaper/magazine promotional images for it. Failing that, the infobox suggests posting a screencapture of the title card of the film. Andrzejbanas (talk) 23:30, 7 September 2024 (UTC)

@Andrzejbanas: Box Office Mojo is a reliable source. It has the included image as the official release poster/image of the movie. The reasons that the promotional poster doesn't have a "studio name" or branding typically happens with TV movies. I didn't get the image from an unofficial bootleg as you supposed. There are various other promtional posters included at Rotten Tomatoes, GooglePlay, and Nightmare Nostalgia which show variations of the same promotional poster. TV movies and straight-to-video release movies have different formatting than theatrical film posters. As there are promotional posters in this instance, a poster as opposed to a newspaper clipping or title card is the better option.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 00:20, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- There is no indication that those are even posters or how google play, rotten tomatoes, or any source of yours gather their images. You are going by presumptions and your images you shared in some of those links don't even match the upload you have either. Can you find anyone out there with a physical copy of this as a poster? You've claimed there are promotional posters, but none of your sources back this up. Andrzejbanas (talk) 00:43, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
